Its amenities, and setting in a more elevated and peaceful location of the resort, are perfectly complemented by the proximity of the pistes. A 2 minute walk to the Yastrebets ski slopes, provides an alternative to the main gondola stations, allowing skiers direct access to the rest of infrastructure of the ski resort.
Borovets Ski Resort
Borovets is the oldest ski resort in Bulgaria, and traditionally the winter play ground of the more discerning Bulgarians.
Property development in the region has deliberately been maintained at a minimum in order for it to preserve its more exclusive image. It consists primarily of a limited number of hotels and sports facilities distributed in the wooded areas at the base of the highest peek in the country, mount Mussala. At present Borovets offers the skier 3 different skiing regions: Sitnyankovo, Yastrebets and Markudjika with a total of 45 km of pistes, which will be doubled in the coming years when the project known as "Super Borovets" is completed.
